Bioactive Peptide

$525.00

The Bioactive Peptide was designed to give your immunity a boost. The protocol delivers strong antiviral properties in a once daily injection. If you struggle with an underactive immune system, this peptide protocol consisting of Selank, TB-500, LL 37, and Thymosin Alpha 1 can help you stay healthy this flu season. Providing increased stimulation of plasma cells, this combination can help your body maintain a high concentration of antibodies, which combat attachment of viral infections. This protocol has also shown increased cell rejuvenation to further enhance your immune

  • Selank is a variant of the immune molecule tuftsin and has potent antiviral properties in addition to its neurological effects. Antiviral characteristics of Selank were evaluated in both in vitro and in vivo against influenza virus strain H3N2, H5N1 and herpes virus (HSV-1 and HSV-2). It was shown that Selank may have a prophylactic effect during influenza infection and therapeutic effect during herpes virus infection.
  • TB-500 is a synthetic derivative of Thymosin, a hormone secreted from the thymus. Its primary function is to stimulate the production of T cells, which are an important part of the immune system. Thymosin also assists in the development of B cells to plasma cells, a process that produces antibodies. TB-500 has been found to play an important role in the protection, regeneration, and remodeling of injured or damaged tissues. Thymosin Beta 4, the predominant form of Thymosin, is currently being trialed as a potential therapy for HIV, AIDS, and Influenza. Currently, Thymosin Beta 4 is most often prescribed for acute injury, surgical repair, and for senior athletes.
  • LL 37 is a cationic host defense peptide (CHDP) and key component of innate defense against infection with both microbicidal and host defense modulatory functions. In addition to their bactericidal potential, CHDP has more recently been shown to have antiviral properties and is highly effective in preventing viral attachment to cells. CHDP has been used in several viral studies and has been anecdotally reported to work well with respiratory tract viruses.
  • Thymosin Alpha 1 (Ta1) is a peptide naturally occurring in the thymus that has long been recognized for modifying, enhancing, and restoring immune function. Ta1 helps the body induce host-derived immune effectors that improve various immunomodulatory properties. This leads to augmentation of T lymphocyte function including modulation of interleukin-2 (IL-2), stimulation of interferon-g (IFN-g) production, induction of T lymphocyte and natural killer (NK) cells, and stimulation of thymopoiesis, the process that turns thymocytes into mature T-cells. Ta1 has also been reported to up-regulate MHC Class I expression.Thymosin Alpha 1 has been utilized in the treatment of immunocompromised states and malignancies, as an enhancer of vaccine response, and as a means of curbing morbidity and mortality in sepsis and numerous infections. Studies have postulated that Thymosin Alpha 1 could help improve the outcome in severely ill respiratory virus patients by repairing damage caused by overactivation of lymphocytic immunity.
